Berlin

for bedtime story

Leda was admired by Zeus, who seduced her in the guise of a swan. As a swan, Zeus fell into her arms for protection from a pursuing eagle. Their consummation, on the same night as Leda lay with her husband, Tyndareus, resulted in two eggs from which hatched Helen — later known as the beautiful. A shepherd found the egg and gave it to Leda, who carefully kept it in a chest until the egg hatched. When the egg hatched, Leda adopted Helen as her daughter. Zeus also commemorated the birth of Helen by creating the constellation Cygnus the Swan, in the sky.

The man

Sat on a rock atop a sand dune that looked out across the sea

At least one assumed it was a man, it was difficult to say

As this person Was nameless. Faceless

And he had a birdcage for a torso

The birdcage rested lightly on the mans lap which was revealed only through the velvet blue cloak that covered his face and shoulders. His legs were still and he wore slippers that touched the sand.

Inside the birdcage, 2 turtle doves

The Woman,

She tumbled from the overhead clouds hanging upside down by her neck that poked through the azure sky that her blonde locks touched the rooftops of the city made of glass eventually made its way to the sea and made a gigantic whirlpool in the salty waters as dolphins pirouette, hallucinate in the mirrors of her eyes shining bright and silver reflecting all of man’s disasters

The doves were first to feel the tremble as the wave reared its head and came crashing in cry a coo..... to her cry.......

The Swan

She was wearing the red silk dress, which had three tiers

and a train that trailed behind her as she walked.

Kneeling down on the rocks at the banks of the lake she took her place carefully

as her red dress settled around her like blood.

In her red hair was pinned a red flower and her pale bare shoulders

shimmered in the sunlight.

She knelt over the edge of the lake

and gazed across the soft surface.

A swan swam past.

The beak was the same colour as her dress and the swan,

it could smell her desire.

The lady in red, she wanted to eat the swan.

Perhaps she wanted to fuck it also.

But only once she had gouged out its eyes. Plucking it from the lake

she would kiss the swan tentatively and it would kiss her back.

Stabbing its beak into her eyes that her eyeball

would shatter and splinter into millions of planets

and form an entire galaxy.

She could imagine wrapping its long neck

around her body and wearing it extravagantly.

Draped over her red dress in swan skin.

Together they would ride on top of the lake and orgasm silmutaneously.

She leaned her face down a little closer. By now,

her face was a few short centimetres away from the water.

Evidently she saw her own reflection.

The soft ripples in the water did not deter her beauty.

The pair of almond eyes, her alabaster skin

stared back at her.

Pulling the eyes away from her own reflection

momentarily she gazed up at the swan.

She reached her arm out

The swan swam closer

and then moved away

thoughts that scattered like clouds one crisp french morn that she fell from her bicycle (quite cumbersome as she had been carrying 3 bunches of tulips at the time!) that fell like a bruise around her. Staining the footpath with their glorious purple heads! Oh and not to mention the 2 dozen lemons that were in the wickerbasket and strapped to the front of her bicycle that flew from her bike. Lemons rolling in the street like shiny yellow marbles
